Wakeboard Rope Basics

It is not possible when an old rope tow wakeboarding. Think twice before using a rope for our water ski wakeboard. The basics of wakeboarding strings are treated here.

Rope Stretch

Jump Starter

Do not stretch wakeboard ropes and when necessary. Strings, the suddenly recoil when the wakeboarder is in the air, reducing the height to reach. Stiffer strings allow you more control. How does this differ from the water? Water ski ropes designed to provide sufficient distance, thehelps to move back and forth the entire circuit and is much more forgiving.

Length of tow rope

The performance behind the boat has a lot to do with the length of the rope. A good choice of length for the beginner wakeboarder to start is around 45-50 meters. The length of the line, you should choose to stay well in jumping and clearing the wake.

If you find that you have problems clearing later when you try to jump to shorten the string. MinorThe side of the border for a narrow part of the sequence. The narrowest point of the sequence is closer to the boat. The greater the distance from the boat the greater the amplitude of the wake. If you find that you too should be riding in the wash of the Wake (CHOP), then try an extension of the rope.

If your skills and progress of wakeboarding experience, you can try to make the transition to a greater length of rope 50-55 feet long. Shorter strings means taking in less air jumps. TheThe shorter the cable the lower the amount you will be able to reach into the air. To perform tricks, which often need air time as you can get.
